Photos from the Chinese New Year 2013 Festivities in Liverpool

This weekend saw the arrival of the Chinese New Year, thousands of people turned out in the pouring rain to welcome the Year of the Snake in Liverpool’s Chinatown District! As we see every year the traditional dragon, lion and unicorn paraded the streets of Liverpool keeping the crowds entertained with performances and ear popping fire cracker displays!

Even though the weather was awful the atmosphere was brilliant, check out some of the photos from the spectacular day!
